A Partnership Story
Vision Smart Technology is a provider of innovative digital transformation solutions and services, having at their core standards compliant Mobile Digital Identity technologies.
Our value-added proposition is backed by the expertise and experience of our team and relies on the strong cooperation we have forged with our core technology provider, the Swedish company Scytáles AB.
As the global leader in digital and mobile identification, Scytáles offers a full stack product portfolio covering end-to end digital and mobile identity solutions. The front mover, creating innovative customer-driven components, offering complementing technologies complying with the new regulations, Scytáles assists in the transition to an interoperable and cross-border system. Scytáles won the tender for the much-anticipated European Digital Identity Wallet contract in 2022, encompassing development, consultancy, and support services to be delivered to the European Commission DG CONNECT for building the EUDI Wallet reference model as introduced by the eIDAS 2.0 Regulation. Scytáles is at the epicentre of setting the global standards and thus in vanguard of the future of digital identity.
VSTech has partnered with Scytáles for the soon to be ubiquitous deployment of EUDI Wallet compliant applications. Together we have a powerful team to serve customers in the deployment and operation of mID/wallet applications in full compliance with the requirements of the industry standards, and of the new EU regulatory framework.
The eIDAS 2.0 compliant applications can be a way of using your national electronic identity card to access online services across the EU. The regulatory framework allows you to prove who you are and log in to websites without relying on any intermediaries. It also enforces cross-border interoperability and therefore such application works in other EU countries, allowing you to use your mobile ID for a very wide range of purposes, of which some examples are:
- Accessing public services like requesting civil records, medical and tax attestations and many more.
- Initiating the process of opening a bank account.
- Applying to universities in one’s own country or other EU member states. Storing a universally applicable medical prescription within Europe.
- Verifying age for online or in person access to services or venues.
- Registering or renting a car, using a digital ID driver’s license.
- Checking into accommodations at hotels.
